giveaway!

Here’s a giveaway you don’t want to miss!

Caroline over at the Modest Mom is giving away 3 gift certificates to Vision Forum! A $100 value, a $200 value and a $300 value…. how fun is that!

I don’t know about you, but I can easily spend some money over at Vision Forum. In fact, often while looking at the catalog I think it would be easier to mark what we already have or wouldn’t want rather then what I would love to get someday!

They have a full assortment of christian books, several on my “wish list” include Queen of her Home, the Family and Raising Real Men. I have also throughly enjoyed the book Large Family Logistics since I bought it this past summer!

My boys love looking through the catalog and you can tell they are boys through and through by the things they have circled! They love all things pertaining to guns, swords, solidering and the like 😉

I have also enjoyed several of their CD’s on various topics that I picked up at the local homeschool convention this last year!

They also have quite a few DVD series that look wonderful and are my my list to try and get more of as the kids get older.
So, be sure you get over the The Modest Mom blog and get entered to win a gift certificate and meanwhile, head over there and start building a wish list!

I am throughly enjoying this book. My son is going to like it even more come Christmas 😉 Written for boys, easily a read-aloud for pre readers or a read on their own for older ones, this is a precious collection of thoughts for boys growing into a warrior for  King Jesus. Full of encouragement and teaching, each page is a short letter written “from God” to the child. Each page also offers a short prayer to God as well. It is beautifully illustrated with pirate and treasure maps pictures. I am sure this would be a book any boy would read over and over again!

Thanks to Blogging for Books, I received a free copy of the book to review. All opinions of the review are mine though!
